Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistics, programming skills, and experience with big data platforms. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop data products and provide actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data products that drive business insights.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business problems, design data solutions, and deploy models.
• Utilize big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark) and SQL/NoSQL databases to manage and analyze large datasets.
• Implement and maintain data engineering practices for the delivery and operational stability of data products.
• Conduct data preparation, visualisation, and model building.
• Deploy and monitor ML models to ensure accuracy and integration into production environments.
• Communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Relevant certifications are preferred.
• Skills:
  
• Strong foundation in statistics and programming (R/Python).
• Experience with data preparation, visualisation, and model building.
• Knowledge of big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark) and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience: 3+ years as a Data Scientist or in a related role.
