Technical Writer

JD Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including user guides, API documentation, integration guides, and process manuals.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to understand complex technical concepts and product features.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in documentation, including terminology, format, and style.
• Review, edit, and improve documentation produced by other writers or technical team members.
• Develop a documentation strategy that aligns with the company's goals and product releases.
• Conduct research and gather information from subject matter experts to produce clear, concise, and informative content.
• Develop content templates and documentation standards to ensure a consistent voice and structure.
• Use industry-standard tools to create diagrams, flowcharts, and other graphical elements to enhance technical documents.
• Manage documentation versioning and updates, ensuring all documents reflect the latest product features and changes.
• Conduct user feedback sessions to continually improve documentation quality and usability.

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar role.

• Strong technical writing skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.

• Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation such as user manuals, API documentation, white papers, FAQs, etc.

• Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, Markdown, Confluence, GitHub).

• Excellent research skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts.

• Experience in collaborating with software developers, engineers, and product managers to gather technical information.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Basic understanding of programming languages, software development and IT infrastructure

• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information in both technical and non-technical terms
