We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Account Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure the effective management of accounts. The ideal candidate will lead the finance team in maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance and supporting the organization's financial health. This role involves close collaboration with academic, operations, and business growth teams to align financial goals with overall institutional objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the organizations financial strategies to support institutional growth and sustainability.
• Supervise the preparation, review and analysis of financial statements, budgets and forecasts to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely settlements and robust cash flow management.
• Design and implement efficient systems for financial reporting, auditing and record-keeping.
• Collaborate with department heads to allocate budgets effectively and track expenditures against predefined targets.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements and internal policies while staying updated on changes in financial laws.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide insights to mitigate financial risks impacting the organization.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for the finance team and regularly evaluate progress against them.
• Manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the accounts team to maintain high levels of productivity and adherence to organizational standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CA/CPA/CMA qualifications preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the education or service sectors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and tax laws.

Skills

• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks or ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret financial data and guide decision-making.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills to foster a collaborative and accountable work environment.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced organizational setting.
