Job Description
You will play a key role in developing implementing cost-saving strategies, managing supplier relationships, and leading a team of buyers towards achieving procurement goals.
Implement procurement strategies for assigned categories of indirect goods and services .
Conduct market research, identify qualified suppliers, and negotiate favorable contracts.
Manage the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process for your assigned categories, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Analyze market trends, cost structures, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and achieving win-win outcomes.
Mentor and guide Buyers within the team, providing support and training.
Oversee adherence to company policies and procedures during procurement processes.
Skills/ Knowledge required Minimum 5+ years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on indirect goods and services.
Proven track record of successfully implementing cost-saving initiatives in procurement.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex data and identify trends.
Experience with procurement software and technologies (e.g., e-sourcing tools) is a plus.
Understanding of commercial factors, contracts, and legal terms is essential.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong leadership skills to mentor and motivate team members.
