Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement innovative procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process efficiencies.

2. Supplier Partnerships

• Establish and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key suppliers.
• Negotiate favorable contracts and ensure optimal supplier performance.

3. Operational Excellence

• Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Introduce and implement advanced procurement systems and tools.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work with finance, legal, and other departments to align procurement with overall business objectives.
• Ensure procurement strategies complement company-wide goals.

5. Cost and Risk Optimization

• Use market insights to make informed, cost-effective procurement decisions.
• Balance quality, cost-efficiency, and risk management in all procurement activities.

6. Contract Management

• Oversee all aspects of procurement contracts, including drafting, compliance, and renewals.

7. Continuous Improvement

• Lead process improvement initiatives and adopt industry best practices.
• Spearhead procurement automation and digital transformation efforts.

8. Performance Reporting

• Prepare detailed procurement reports and track KPIs to inform decision-making.

9. Team Leadership

• Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team.
• Cultivate a collaborative and innovative team culture.

10. Budget and Forecasting

• Manage procurement budgets and financial forecasting.
• Align procurement activities with the companys financial objectives.

11. Cross-department Coordination

• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations to ensure seamless procurement support for all business activities.

Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience: Extensive background in strategic procurement and supplier management.
• Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication abilities.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with procurement software and systems.
• Industry Knowledge: Background in mechanical, metallurgy, or engineering sectors is advantageous.
• Certifications: Supply Chain Management certifications (CSCP, CPSM, or equivalent) are a plus.
• Lean Practices: Knowledge of 5S and lean management methodologies.
