Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and executing purchasing strategies, analyzing market trends, identifying suppliers
• Negotiating deals and managing vendors, comparing and evaluating offers from supplier.
• Close review of requirements, forecast , mitigate risks, and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
• Controls inventory levels, track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Efficiency in Progen/SAP procurement software use
• Communication skills to interact effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Review quality of purchased products
• Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.
• Researches and evaluates vendors to compare pricing and services
• Supporting new Product sourcing activity by finding new technologies and trends in the industries in coordination with vendors.

Preferred candidate profile

B. Tech / B.Bharm/ B.Sc. / M.Sc. &

Diploma / PG / Executive / Fulltime MBA in Materials Management.
