Job Description
- Engineer with experience in sourcing of commodity like Fabrication parts, Press part, Machining, Forging, Casting & Special process like powder coating, plating, hardening etc.
Having good process knowledge. Knowing basic concept of manufacturing. Good in cost estimation and negotiation, material follow up with vendor. - Cost saving: Annualized accrued saving as 2.5% of material cost budget thru procurement optimization.
- Commodity rate revision between 1st to 5th of every month. Must have knowledge of Advance Microsoft excel along with tools like VBA, Python etc.
- To develop parts within agreed lead time and cost.
- MIS Reports, Spend Analysis, Activity based costing, Zero base costing, Supplier De-risking and Rationalization.
- Supplier assessment, training and improvement, hands on PPAP activity to implement at vendor end.
- Technical and commercial involvement
- Planning and follow up
- Good interpersonal skills
