Head Finance and Accounts

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Oversee the financial operations of the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Accounting: Manage the accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support the plant's objectives and growth.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies. Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Cost Control: Monitor and control costs to improve profitability. Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis to support decision-making. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is an added advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial management and accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws.
• Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
