Job Description
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process.
- Prepare financial forecasts and update them regularly based on actual performance and changing business conditions.
- Collaborate with department heads to gather input for budget and forecast preparation.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budget and forecast.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency.
- Support long-term strategic planning by creating financial models and scenarios.
- Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management and stakeholders.
- Summarize complex financial information into clear and concise insights.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to support decision-making.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial planning processes and tools.
- Automate and streamline reporting and analysis where possible.
- Work closely with accounting, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals.
- Act as a financial advisor to business units, providing guidance on cost control and resource allocation
- Ensure that all timesheet bookings of the business are complete to ensure 90% of the employees have completed their monthly time sheet booking
- Make sure that monthly cost+ plus Invoices are verified and issued
- Also ensure any back chargeables are billed back subsidiaries.
- Exp: 10 years in Reporting Specialist / Cost Control experience especially in a MNC environment
