Tata Consulting - Manager - Business Finance (7-12 yrs)

- Lead the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for the business unit, monitoring actual performance against plan. The person will be key member of Business Unit team.

- Will be responsible for the preparation of annual and long-term strategic plans for the Business Unit,

- Assist in decision making and responsible for coordinating commercial finance matters including customer proposals, contracts etc.

- Reviews customer RFP's and develops/supports pricing strategy and overall economics

- Periodic review of accounting / revenue recognition, cost provisioning on projects pertaining to the business unit

- Actively engages with operational leaders (Group Sector Heads/ Sector Heads/ Project Managers/ Account Managers) to ensure financial matters are proactively reviewed and clearly understood

- Responsible for providing accurate and timely financial reporting and advice to the BU Head /BU Commercial Head/ International Business Head/ CFO in respect of all issues of financial control

- Will act as the point of contact for all financial issues in the BU commercial teams

- Monitor monthly performance, variance analysis, KPI reporting, conduct project level reviews, cash flow management, trends and benchmarking and collaborate with BU leadership.

- Partner cross functional teams to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives

- Liaison with statutory / internal auditors on BU matters

- Assist in risk assessment of projects at different stages and ensure implementation of mitigation action plans.

- Monitor and communicate legislative changes relating to government and resident funding to relevant personnel across the Business Unit/Corporate finance.

- Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of cost savings and revenue growth initiatives.
