CNC Operator

Set up CNC turning machines based on blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.

Load and align raw materials on the CNC machine.

Select and install tooling, fixtures, and cutting tools.

Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and make necessary adjustments to tools and settings.

Inspect parts during and after production using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other precision measuring instruments.

Ensure that produced parts meet specified tolerances and quality standards.

Troubleshoot and correct any issues with machine operations or product quality.

Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and changing worn tools.

Record machine settings, production output, and any changes or modifications in the process.

Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all completed jobs.

Work closely with the production team and supervisors to meet production schedules.

Collaborate with quality control and engineering departments to address any discrepancies in parts or processes.
