Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sr. Business Development Executive responsible for new business development. lead generation, account management, and client communication. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in Business Development, preferably in agriculture or BFSI, with a focus on lead generation and deal conversion. Startup experience is a plus. The candidate must be a team player, capable of leading sales team, passionate about acquiring new clients, and proactive in driving company revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Creating creative outbound prospecting strategy and executing the strategy to break through to busy prospects: cold calls, email, social selling, direct mail, etc.
  • Develop external partnerships with anyone working with farmers (e.g., banks, BFSIs, startups, FPOs, non-profits, non-governmental organizations, government agencies, corporates, etc.) to support the development and scaling of technical solutions
  • Tracking the changes in market dynamics and implementing amendments in various product offerings based on market, competition, and customer requirements.
  • Work with executive leadership to define, launch, and drive strategic sustainability initiatives spanning the organization.
  • Establish best practices for analytics and ensure the delivery of high-quality insights.
  • Achieving and exceeding weekly/monthly performance metrics (appointments set, qualified leads worked, deals closed, etc.)
  • Enable critical decision-making by aligning and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • New Business Development and Lead Generation skills
  • Excellent business, communication, and account management abilities.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • ability to prepare and present proposals and sales reports.
  • Experience in the Agri-tech/BFSI industry is a plus.
  • Masters degree in Sales, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
