Marketing Head

We are looking for a Dynamic Candidate with experience of Heading the Marketing Vertical especially in a large of Mid Size Organization, preferably from Retail. As Head of Marketing is you will be responsible for crafting strategies, managing budgets, and setting goals for marketing teams. You have to ensure consistent brand messaging, analyze consumer behavior, and identify market expansion opportunities. With leadership skills and industry experience, you will need to boost brand awareness and profitability.

As Head of Marketing you have to lead and direct the marketing department, including digital marketing, advertising, communications, and creative teams. You will need to develop marketing plans, allocate resources, and set short-term and long-term goals. Analyze consumer behavior, identify market opportunities, and design branding strategies. Also coordinate with sales teams and understand how they can help un marketing efforts and participate in company planning. Ultimately, your role is to drive brand awareness, enhance profitability, and achieve marketing objectives.

Role & responsibilities

• Craft strategies for all Marketing teams, including Digital, Advertising, Communications and Creative
• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department
• Set, monitor and report on team goals
• Design branding, positioning and pricing strategies
• Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
• Analyze consumer behavior and determine customer personas
• Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
• Craft quarterly and annual hiring plans, hire the right set of teams
• Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features)
• Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness
• Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of company objectives
• Focus on Digital & E-Commerce marketing
• Work with various external agencies wherever needed, coordinate with vendors on implementing marketing plans
• Take proper feedback from Sales & Store teams on which channel and type of marketing in working and which has helped in increasing the walk-ins
• Ensure 360 degree marketing happens so that we are capturing the right mind share of the target audience
• Conduct in-store events, expos, etc on a regular basis which gives the visibility and also helps in acquiring new customers

Preferred candidate profile

• Work experience as Head of Marketing or VP Marketing, preferably within our industry
• Experience running successful marketing campaigns
• Solid knowledge of web analytics and Google Adwords
• Experience with CRM software
• Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals
• Analytical mind
• An MBA in Marketing in Preferred
