Job Title: Store Manager

Work Location: Ghatkopar East, Mumbai

Work Timing: 10 -8.30 pm IST time

Working days: Tuesday to Sunday

All Monday off

Job Overview:

As the Floor Manager at a Furnishing Fabric Store is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on the store floor. The role typically includes a combination of customer service, sales, inventory management, and staff supervision. Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Management:

• Ensure that customers receive excellent service, helping them with fabric selection, answering queries, and providing recommendations based on their needs.
• Resolve any customer complaints or issues efficiently.

Sales & Product Knowledge:

• Promote the stores products and special offers to customers.
• Stay updated on the stores inventory, fabric types, patterns, and uses to assist customers in choosing the right products.
• Monitor sales targets and contribute to achieving them.

Staff Supervision & Training:

• Oversee a team of sales associates, ensuring they are well-trained on the products, sales techniques, and customer service expectations.
• Schedule staff shifts, ensuring adequate coverage for the store.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback or coaching as needed.

Inventory Management:

• Ensure the store’s inventory is well-maintained, organized, and restocked regularly.
• Conduct regular stock checks, manage the ordering process, and ensure the store is always well-stocked with popular fabrics and other materials.

Store Presentation:

• Oversee the visual merchandising of the store, ensuring fabric displays are neat, attractive, and easy for customers to browse.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization on the sales floor and in storage areas.

Reporting and Administration:

• Track sales data, customer feedback, and store performance.
• Handle daily sales transactions, process returns or exchanges, and ensure cash registers are balanced.

Education & Certifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in business, fashion, design, or related field is preferred.
• Any certifications related to fabric or home decor would be a plus
