Logistic Executive

As a Logistics Executive at Salad Days, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our logistics operations to ensure efficient delivery and distribution of products to our outlets. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage inventory, ensure timely delivery, and maintain compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Take over materials from stockrooms and central production units, verifying items against packing lists and checking expiry dates, particularly for perishable items.
• Ensure that packaging is appropriately done using carton boxes, crates, and insulated boxes according to product categories.
• Dispatch materials according to the scheduled delivery times, ensuring order accuracy and minimal short-supplies.
• Maintain and circulate records of transfer invoices and shipment receipts, ensuring documentation is complete and signed by receiving outlets.
• Regularly schedule and conduct cleaning of plastic crates and insulated boxes.
• Perform routine inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Keep accurate records of all shipping documents, including transfer invoices and packing lists, ensuring they are properly filed and accessible.
• Optimize logistics routes to reduce fuel costs and overall logistics expenses.
• Continually assess and report logistics costs to identify and implement cost-saving measures.

Requirements

• bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within the food service industry.
• Experience in handling perishable goods is highly preferred.
• Proficient in logistics software and database management.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Proactive in identifying issues and developing solutions.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
