Key Responsibilities:

• Coordination of Shipments:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics operations such as shipping, inventory, warehousing, and transportation.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transport companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Documentation and Compliance:

• Prepare shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, invoices, packing lists).
• Ensure compliance with local, international, and company-specific regulations regarding logistics and transportation.
• Ensure accurate and proper record-keeping of all original logistics documents. (Addition)
• Supplier & Vendor Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and carriers.
• Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-efficiency.
• Logistics Optimization:

• Implement best practices to improve supply chain efficiency.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery times, transportation costs, and delivery.
• Problem-Solving:

• Resolve any issues related to transportation delays, damaged goods, or incorrect deliveries.
• Identify and mitigate risks within the logistics processes.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Track and analyze logistics costs and performance metrics.
• Generate and present periodic reports on logistics operations to management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in any field
• 2-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a similar role.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures is a plus.

Work Environment:

• Office-based, with visits to warehouses or client sites for material deliveries or documentation as per operational needs.
• May require flexibility to work in shifts or extended hours based on operational needs.
