Job Description
Be part of sales / principal / marketing strategy formulation and effective implementation
- Prepare and discuss the annual business plan with management
- Business Development
- Opportunity identification and selling across all divisions
- Keep current with demand and supply of company s products/services, economic indicators,
- changing trends and its competition
- New customer acquisition across all divisions
- Assist team with data inputs and visits wherever required
- Ensure effective data mining and usage
- Principal & Product Development
- Ensure new principals & products are developed as per strategy
- Revenue and Margin
- Ensure achievement of total revenue target division wise, product wise, region wise
- Ensure achievement of total margin target product wise
- Sales Process management
- Monitor enquiries, quotations, and their response timeliness
- Conduct meetings periodically to monitor sales efforts of the team
- Sales funnel management
- Analyze the sales reports vis- -vis targets
- Tendering
- Keep track of latest tenders issued
- Analysis of tender data
- Customer Relationship Management
- Manage and review periodically orders from key customers
- Visit clients to maintain the relationship
- Assist in managing customer queries/complaints wherever required
- Collections
- Monitor and review outstanding collections from customers with the team
- Handle critical outstanding cases upon escalation
- Marketing
- Participation in industry forums
- Exhibitions and fairs
- Ensure implementation of marketing strategy (Seminars, etc.)
- Team Management
- Managing Sales team to achieve targets
- Monitor documentation or processes adherence
- Provide sales and product training wherever required
- Liaise with Marketing and sales team ensuring product and principal mix across all regions
- Evaluate and communicate performance periodically of the team
- Anticipate and manage team grievances
- Reports and MIS
- Analysis of reports
- Preparation of reports to management
Requirements:
- Lead all India Sales and Product Management team
- Good in analytical and business process skills
- Good in Negotiation Skill
- Result oriented and achievement driven
- Knowledge of commercial terms
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Independent and able to work effectively under pressure
- Willing to travel
