Job Description:
- Research and identify, develop new business opportunities in automotive and non-automotive markets; generate revenues.
- Exploring new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships.
- New business means designed and manufactured products for automotive and non automotive markets, software solutions, engineering & consulting services.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Capture the requirements of clients and get the project executed by the team.
- Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
- Preparing MIS, reviewing with management and implement measures.
- Reaching the financial and other targets as planned by the organization.
Education Qualification:
- MBA with B Tech in ME / EEE/ ECE
Experience:
- Software services & solutions business development experience: 8-10 years.
- Prior experience from engineering services preferred.
- Advantage: R&D working experience in non-automotive industry, overseas assignments.
Essential Functional / Technical Competencies:
- Plan, develop and oversee the overall business development strategy.
- Determine key business development KPIs.
- Work with sales and marketing teams internal & external.
- Do a regular market research, Build strong relationships with clients.
- Develop sales strategy and on-board new customers.
- Negotiate deals & management alignments.
- Build strong relationships with industry professionals, competitors, vendors, and other personnel.
- Project management & competency development, management of resource.
- Project delivery with required KPIs.
- Sound fundamentals of Engineering design & Product development, simulations.
- High level of leadership skills.
- Ability to interference with cross cultural / international team.
- Knowledge on effort estimation for projects.
