Team Member - Purchase

This position will be responsible for managing the purchase of Aluminum profiles, glass and hardware for Kitchen shutters and Mirrors. He/She will have to take care of availability, inventory, product development and cost savings for project and retail business.

• Negotiate contract with the suppliers and pricing for regular supplies
• Drive cost saving projects and maintain cost as per budgeted numbers
• Identify and evaluate new and regular vendors
• Inventory management as per budget numbers
• Manage availability to support sales or project team for all the sales requirements
• Collaborate with product / project and R&D teams on product and projects
• Vendor management and improve vendor relations
• Sub-contractor management and workflow
• Resolve supply chain issues and ensure on time supply to projects
• MIS analyzing performance- Identify bottle necks for improvement

Desired Skills :

• BE/Btech
• 3 to 5 years experience in Aluminum profiles sourcing

Specific Skills :

• Project management skills
• Experience in order and inventory planning
• Good negotiation and vendor management skills and experience in product costing
• Experience in SAP is an added advantage
