Global Network Manager

Role & responsibilities:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 9 years of experience in network management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Familiar with L2 & L3 operation support on a global scale
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and best practices.
• Experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Relevant certifications, such as CCNP, CCIE, or CISSP, are a plus.
• Familiar with network design in the public cloud like AWS and AZURE will be an added advantage

Preferred candidate profile:

Design, implement, and manage the global network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, ZTNA, AWS Cloud networking, SDWAN and wireless networks.

• Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security measures.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and policies.
• Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
• Collaborate with other IT departments to ensure seamless integration of network services with other IT systems.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality network services.
• Stay up to date with the latest network technologies and trends to ensure the organization's network infrastructure remains current and competitive.
