Sr. Manager / Manager - Finance & Accounts

Sahayog Hospitals is looking for an experienced Sr. Manager / Manager - Finance & Accounts to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial operations, budgeting, reporting, and compliance, with extensive experience in vendor management, cash management, and managing accounts receivable and payable. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient financial operation of the hospital, contributing to its growth and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Operations: Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring smooth and accurate financial transactions across all departments of the hospital.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial projections, ensuring adherence to financial targets and objectives.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, analyzing variances and offering insights into cost management and revenue generation.
• Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory regulations, including tax filings, auditing, and other legal requirements.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring timely payments, contract renewals, and managing procurement processes effectively.
• Accounts Receivable & Payable: Oversee the timely collection of bills receivable and ensure prompt payment of bills payable, maintaining liquidity and financial stability.
• Cash Management: Monitor cash flows, ensuring sufficient cash liquidity for operations, while implementing strategies to optimize cash utilization.
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls to safeguard the hospitals financial assets and prevent fraud or errors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: Cost Accountant / MBA Finance / M.Com. (Essential).
• Experience: 7-15 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounts, with a focus on financial operations, budgeting, reporting, and compliance, ideally within the healthcare sector.
• Key Skills:
• Strong knowledge of financial operations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Expertise in accounts receivable and payable, cash management, and vendor management.
• Familiarity with financial software and tools for analysis and reporting.
• In-depth understanding of compliance requirements and financial regulations.
