Candidate should have knowledge of purchasing and sourcing activities at our solar cell manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will manage and optimize the procurement process for raw materials, components, and services needed for solar cell production. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, vendor negotiations, and an in-depth knowledge of materials used in solar cell manufacturing. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for raw materials and components used in solar cell manufacturing (e.g., silicon wafers, conductive materials, anti-reflective coatings, etc.). Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the plants production. Continuously assess supplier performance through metrics such as delivery, quality, and pricing to ensure timely and reliable supply. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual terms with suppliers to achieve cost-effective and reliable procurement. Work closely with the inventory and warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock levels, reducing excess inventory while avoiding stockouts. Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to ensure material specifications are met for product development and production processes. Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on material quality and availability to optimize production efficiency.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing industry (experience in solar or renewable energy is a strong advantage).
