Job Title: Operations Manager
Location : Navi Mumbai
Job Role:
- To provide operational support to the Sales team for sale of Spare parts.
- Assist the Sales Manager in formulating and accomplishing the marketing strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
- Provide sales and support as per our customer's need and ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Operational activities of spare part division.
- Analytical thinking and strategic involvement in achieving set targets.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Sales Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of the sales operations cycle, ensuring that processes are efficient and aligned with organizational goals.
- Streamlining Sales & Warehouse Processes: Work closely with the warehouse and sales teams to optimize processes, improve operational efficiency, and maintain effective inventory management.
- Preparation and Implementation of SOPs: Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various sales and operations activities.
- Coordination Across Teams: Ensure seamless communication and collaboration between the sales teams, customers, and internal departments for timely and effective execution of tasks.
- Warehouse Visits: Conduct regular visits to the warehouses in Morbi and Delhi to monitor processes, address operational challenges, and ensure the smooth functioning of operations.
- Daily Team Meetings: Lead daily meetings with sales teams to gather updates, review progress, and identify areas for improvement or intervention.
- Real-Time Communication: Provide real-time updates to HOD regarding any critical information, developments, or operational challenges.
- Data Analysis & MIS Reports: Perform data analysis and generate various Management Information System (MIS) reports to track sales performance, trends, and other key metrics.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales engineers by providing necessary data, insights, and resources to enable them to achieve sales targets.
- Strategy Support: Work alongside the Head of Department (HOD) to contribute to the development and improvement of sales strategies, ensuring they align with overall business objectives.
- Sales Forecasting & Budgeting: Help forecast sales trends and assist in budgeting, ensuring resources and strategies are effectively allocated to meet sales goals.
Age: 30 onwards.
Educational Qualifications:
- Essential: Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Desirable: Good working knowledge on excel/reports.
Professional Experience Required:
- Essential: 8 -10 years of experience in handling sales operations.
- Desirable: Experience in the Rigid Packaging industry or any other engineering manufacturing industry.
Desirable Skill Sets:
- Proven experience in sales operations, warehouse management, and process improvement.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP systems or other sales management tools.
- Willingness to travel for warehouse visits as needed.
Extent of Decision-making Authority: All decisions to be taken in consultation with the HOD.
Responsible for Supervising Activites of: Sales Engineers and Sales coordinators.
