Key Responsibilities

General Ledger Accounting

• Manage and maintain the integrity of the General Ledger (GL).
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Financial Reporting

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements.
• Support statutory reporting, audits, and regulatory filings as required.
• Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations.

Reconciliations and Analysis

• Perform and review reconciliations of key GL accounts, including bank, intercompany, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to enhance processes and implement best practices in Record to Report functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate and streamline financial workflows.

Compliance and Control

• Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and external regulatory requirements.
• Support audit activities by providing accurate and timely documentation.

Collaboration

• Liaise with other finance teams, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Treasury, to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Partner with stakeholders across the organization to deliver financial insights and support decision-making.
