Role & responsibilities

Strategic Tender Planning and Team Management

• Assign tender responsibilities to team members based on the scope of work.
• Provide guidance on site survey requirements and tender processes.
• Review tender workings, key techno-commercial terms, and resource plans.
• Finalize contracts with clients and ensure seamless handovers to execution teams.

Comprehensive Tender Review and Submission

• Plan and oversee tender submissions to meet deadlines.
• Analyze BOQs, scope of work, and pre-bid queries, attending meetings as needed.
• Review vendor quotations, rate analysis, and overhead calculations to optimize profitability.
• Ensure all post-bid offers align with company goals.

Vendor Development and Optimization

• Identify and onboard specialized vendors for tender-specific items.
• Expand the vendor database to ensure competitive pricing and quality options.

Collaborative Planning and Review Meetings

• Plan site surveys and address critical tender requirements.
• Coordinate tender security arrangements and resource planning.
• Collaborate with finance, safety, and quality teams to meet tender specifications.
• Track submitted bids and follow up with clients for updates.

Enquiry and Bid Management

• Evaluate incoming enquiries and assign them to team members.
• Maintain records of tender submissions, updating their progress regularly.
• Decline enquiries below threshold values to focus on strategic opportunities.

Awarded Contract Handover and Documentation

• Oversee the handover of tender documents to execution teams during kick-off meetings.
• Maintain organized records of awarded tenders for future reference.

Data-Driven Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare and update weekly tender status reports.
• Present quarterly business plans and achievements to leadership.
• Monitor annual client engagement and enquiry flow for insights.

Team Building and Skill Development

• Establish and update systematic procedures for tendering processes.
• Provide regular training and guidance to enhance team performance.
• Foster confidence and independence within the team to handle critical requirements.
