Selenium & Playwright Test Expert - Automation Testing (6-9 yrs)

We are seeking a seasoned Test Automation Expert specializing in Selenium and Playwright with 6-8 years of experience. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the highest quality standards in our software products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of automation frameworks, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright.

- Design and implement robust test automation frameworks tailored to project requirements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to understand requirements and create effective testing strategies.

- Execute end-to-end testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed feedback to development teams for prompt resolution.

- Maintain and update automated test scripts to accommodate changes in requirements or design.

- Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality assurance.

- Document test cases, scripts, and procedures to maintain a clear and comprehensive knowledge base.

Requirements :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience : 6-8 years in software testing with a focus on Selenium and Playwright automation.

- Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and relevant programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.

- Experience in creating and managing test automation frameworks.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker for test integration.

- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

- ISTQB certification or similar QA certifications.

- Familiarity with RESTful API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.

- Experience with cloud-based testing tools and environments.
