Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. CLM Support Team
    • Contract Template Creation: Collaborate with legal, procurement, sales, and other departments to draft, review, and finalize contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements. Develop and maintain contract templates for efficiency and consistency.
    • Contract Monitoring: Monitor ongoing contracts to ensure compliance with terms, conditions, and deadlines. Track key contract milestones, including renewal and expiration dates, and provide reminders for upcoming actions.
    • Issue Resolution: Track and resolve contract performance issues, including disputes, breaches, or violations, ensuring compliance and timely resolution.
  2. Operational Excellence
    • Training & Support: Provide specialized training and ongoing support for selected internal users on contract management best practices and CLM software systems. Assist in processing issues related to contract, catalogue, PO, and invoice mismatches.
    • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor contract compliance and generate internal KPI reports to track contract performance and compliance metrics.
    • Software Systems Management: Utilize CLM tools and software to manage contracts and continuously improve contract management processes.
    • Process Improvements: Propose and implement changes to improve the contract management processes within procurement, contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
    • Reporting: Prepare and present procurement and compliance tracking reports to management, highlighting contract performance, renewal statuses, and other key metrics.
  3. Collaboration with Data Engineering
    • Partner with the Data Engineering team to design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and analytical reports to monitor contract performance and compliance metrics.

Job Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
    • Certification in Contract Management (e.g., NCCM, CPCM) is a plus.
  • Relevant Experience:
    • Proven experience (3+ years) in contract management, legal operations, or related roles.
    • Experience in procurement or contract support functions, with a focus on CLM.
    • Familiarity with contract template creation and contract management processes.
  • Behavioral Skills:
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret legal terms and conditions.
    • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
    • A self-driven personality with a strong ability to secure execution and manage tasks independently.
    • Strong understanding of contract law and compliance.
    • Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously, meeting deadlines and performance goals.
    • Willingness to work non-traditional hours due to global time zone differences, and occasional travel may be required.
    • High social intelligence to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge:
    • Proficiency with CLM tools (e.g., Icertis, Sirion, Docusign, SAP Ariba, Conga, Oneflow).
    • Experience with enterprise software platforms such as SAP, JDE, ServiceNow, Coupa, etc.
    • Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel.

Roles & Responsibilities Summary:

  • Contract Lifecycle: Oversee contract lifecycle management, including creation, monitoring, compliance, and issue resolution.
  • Training & Support: Provide training on CLM tools and ensure internal stakeholders are equipped with the necessary skills to manage contracts.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with procurement, legal, finance, and external vendors to ensure smooth contract management operations.
  • Reporting & Automation: Support reporting, tracking, and process improvements, and work with data engineering to automate compliance dashboards.
