Sr Head Distribution Planning

Key Responsibilities

Distribution Planning

• Lead and manage a team of distribution planners, ensuring effective service levels (e.g., no dry runs at stations).
• Align with strategic supply and logistics objectives, ensuring operational targets are met.
• Oversee supply execution, ensuring adherence to sourcing contracts, volumes, and quality standards.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, providing coaching and training to the team.
• Foster collaboration across functions within Global Fuels and Logistics.

Project Management

• Develop an in-depth understanding of business performance and generate insights for decision-making.
• Use data to prioritize solutions and drive projects that impact key performance metrics.
• Prepare management reports and project analysis for senior stakeholders.

Operational Excellence

• Drive process innovation and transformation, contributing to operational improvements and cross-functional initiatives.
• Work independently with a proactive attitude, establishing industry standards and SOPs for fleet planning and supply chain management.
• Lead initiatives to improve service levels, shift utilization, and other performance targets.

People Management

• Attract, develop, and retain talent within the Fuels & Logistics team.
• Promote ACTs culture at the India Fuels & Logistics GCC and align it with organizational values.
• Implement customized learning plans for team members to align with organizational goals.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate across internal and external stakeholders, driving successful project outcomes.
• Provide recommendations and solutions for business challenges and technical escalations.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for business stakeholders, managing both technical and non-technical issues.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Masters degree or equivalent in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.

Relevant Experience

• 12+ years of experience in large international organizations.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in logistics and supply planning.
• At least 3 years experience as a team manager.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
