Snowflake Development

- Experience in Building DWH using snowflake (minimum 5 to 8 years actual hands on) , and be snowflake certified .

- Should be able to provide technical direction to team,.

- Experience in design , processes for DataLake EDW.

Primary responsibility :

- High level (and sometimes low level) architecture and design choices Create or select the architecture for the system such that it suits the business needs and satisfies system requirements.

- The requirements include both functional and nonfunctional ones (performance, reliability, scalability and component reusability).

- Research alternatives for the design and ensure pros and cons of each of them Create and distribute tailored views of software architectures to appropriate stakeholders at appropriate intervals Mentor the team to understand and apply industry best practices

- Review and suggest changes to software development life cycle processes as needed See the big picture and define the interaction between components

- Define the boundaries, interfaces and interactions spanning technologies and platforms

Responsible for defining various standards : coding standards, tools and platforms Define security and backup procedures

Requirements and skills :

- Proven work experience as a Data Architect,

- In-depth understanding of database structure principles

- Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements

- Expertise in snowflake,.

- AWS Cloud, Oracle, Proven analytical skills- Problem-solving attitude- Leading client discussions,- proactive in tracking and providing required updates , driving discussions with client.
