Cloud Specialist - Azure (10-15 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Cloud COE to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure cloud technologies, automation, and scripting.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Engineering :

- Design and implement cloud solutions using Azure services, following industry best practices.

- Deploy and manage Azure resources, including Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, Security, and PaaS services.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, PowerShell, and other Infrastructure as Code tools.

Cloud Strategy and Governance :

- Collaborate with architects and leadership to define and evolve the organization's cloud strategy.

- Establish and enforce cloud governance policies to ensure compliance with security, cost, and operational standards.

- Review cloud recommendations and optimize Azure resources for cost and utilization efficiency.

Innovation and Problem-Solving :

- Research and evaluate emerging cloud technologies and trends.

- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues.

Collaboration and Support :

- Collaborate with application development teams to meet their cloud-based needs.

- Provide guidance and support to team members on cloud technologies and best practices.

- Manage and monitor proof-of-concept environments to accelerate adoption of new technologies.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong proficiency in Azure cloud technologies, including Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, Security, and PaaS services.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, PowerShell, and Ansible.

- Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.

- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
