Applications Support Specialist - Warehouse Management Systems (4-6 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP, Oracle, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like Red Prairie, Manhattan, and Blue Yonder.

You will be responsible for providing L1, L2, and L3 support for these systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Support :

- Provide timely and effective technical support for SAP, Oracle, and WMS systems.

- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to system functionality, data integrity, and performance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal downtime.

- Implement solutions and workarounds to address system issues.

Problem Solving :

- Analyze system logs and error messages to identify root causes.

- Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.

- Develop and implement preventive measures to enhance system stability and reliability.

Documentation :

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides.

- Document incident resolution processes and best practices.

Process Improvement :

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

- Implement changes to streamline support processes and enhance efficiency.

Collaboration :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.

- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to address system problems.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 4+ years of experience in application support, preferably in SAP, Oracle, and WMS domains.

- Strong understanding of functional, process, and data flow for supported systems.

- Proficiency in SQL query writing and database concepts.

- Experience with support tools like SQL Developer and Putty.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts (excluding night shifts).

Desired Skills :

- Experience with WMS systems like Red Prairie, Manhattan, and Blue Yonder.

- Knowledge of manual testing and test case execution.

- Experience with ITIL frameworks
