- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support informed business decisions.

- Optimize capital structure and oversee funding initiatives, investments, and treasury activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting according to accepted principles and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial data to uncover trends, perform variance analysis, and provide actionable insights.
- Present financial reports to senior management, the board of directors, and stakeholders for strategic decision-making.
- Develop financial models to aid in valuation, planning, and forecasting.
Banking & Treasury Operations Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bank, ensuring operational excellence and high-quality customer service.
- Implement best practices in banking operations to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and oversee a secure and efficient payments system.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with all banking laws and regulations.
- Manage banking relationships, negotiating terms and managing communications with banks and financial institutions.
- Oversee cash flow management strategies, ensuring optimal liquidity for operational needs while maximizing returns on idle funds.
- Implement and manage effective treasury operations, including cash management, foreign exchange risk management, and interest rate risk management.
- Develop policies and procedures for treasury activities to mitigate financial risks.
- Lead the team in executing transactions, including fund transfers, letters of credit, and bank guarantees.
Trade Finance
- Oversee the structuring, negotiation, and management of trade finance instruments such as letters of credit, bank guarantees, and trade loans to support import/export activities.
- Work closely with the sales and procurement teams to structure trade finance solutions that minimize risk and optimize working capital.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions to ensure access to trade finance products and services.
- Ensure compliance with international trade finance regulations and standards.
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with local and international banking regulations and standards.
- Develop and oversee the bank's risk management policies and procedures.
- Monitor financial and operational risks and implement measures to mitigate these risks.
- Liaise with regulators and ensure that the organization is prepared for regulatory examinations and audits.
Leadership and Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and operations team.
- Foster a culture of transparency, integrity, and high performance.
- Ensure team alignment with the bank's strategic objectives and values.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the finance and operations departments.
Stakeholder Management
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including shareholders, board members, and employees, to provide clear financial insights and updates.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including banks, investors, and regulators.
- Represent the bank in financial and banking forums, conferences, and other public platforms.
Technology and Innovation
- Leverage technology to streamline banking operations and enhance customer service.
- Oversee the implementation of new banking technologies and digital banking initiatives.
- Promote a culture of innovation within the organization to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
Project Finance
- Lead the evaluation and structuring of financing solutions for major projects, analyzing various funding options including debt, equity, and grants.
- Collaborate with project teams and external advisors to prepare financial models, perform due diligence, and assess project risks.
- Negotiate terms with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders for project financing.
- Oversee the financial management of projects, including budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure projects adhere to financial criteria and compliance requirements.
