Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ColdFusion Server Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing ColdFusion servers, ensuring optimal performance, and troubleshooting issues related to ColdFusion applications and environments.

You will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and security of ColdFusion servers, ensuring high availability and efficient performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and manage ColdFusion servers (including installation, configuration, and updates) in a production environment.

- Monitor the health and performance of ColdFusion servers, troubleshooting and resolving server-related issues in a timely manner.

- Manage ColdFusion application deployments, environment configurations, and version control.

- Configure and maintain ColdFusion environments (development, testing, production) and integrate them with web servers like Apache, IIS, or Nginx.

- Optimize server performance by tuning ColdFusion settings, JVM settings, and database queries.

- Perform regular security audits and ensure the server is secure from vulnerabilities, implementing patches and updates as necessary.

- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot ColdFusion application issues and improve server performance.

- Provide technical support and guidance to development teams on ColdFusion-related best practices.

- Maintain server documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.

- Work with database administrators to ensure seamless integration between ColdFusion applications and databases (SQL/NoSQL).

- Ensure server backup procedures are in place, performing regular backups and restoring data when necessary.

- Assist in disaster recovery planning and implementation for ColdFusion server environments.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest ColdFusion server updates, patches, and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in ColdFusion server administration and application management.

- Strong understanding of ColdFusion installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

- Experience with web servers (Apache, IIS, Nginx) and their integration with ColdFusion.

- Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases and database optimization.

- Expertise in JVM tuning and performance optimization.

- Experience with server security, SSL certificate management, and vulnerability assessments.

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).

- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.

- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, troubleshoot efficiently, and document procedures clearly
