Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Azure Backup & Disaster Recovery Engineer with 5+ years of expertise in designing, implementing, and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions in Azure cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, and other cloud-based DR tools, ensuring data protection, business continuity, and high availability for our critical workloads.

Experience : 5+ years.

Shift : US shift (4:30 PM to 1:30 AM).

Notice period : immediate joiner.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience : 5+ years of experience working with backup and disaster recovery solutions in Azure.

- Hands-on experience with Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, and Recovery Services Vault.

- Proficiency in designing and implementing backup strategies for virtual machines, databases, and file servers.

- Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud disaster recovery solutions.

- Strong knowledge of backup retention policies, encryption, and data protection practices.

- Experience with PowerShell or Azure CLI scripting for automation of backup and recovery processes.

- Azure certifications, such as Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.

- Experience with third-party backup tools integrated with Azure, such as Veeam, Commonvault, or NetApp.

- Understanding of business continuity planning and recovery strategies for mission-critical applications.

- Familiarity with Azure storage services, including Blob Storage, Disk Storage, and Azure Files.
