Senior Backup Architect - CommVault (3-5 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, architect, and implement scalable Commvault- backup and recovery solutions aligned with business needs and IT infrastructure.

- Leverage your in-depth knowledge of Commvault- products (i.e., Commvault- Intelligent Data Management, Simpana) to deliver optimal data protection strategies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT operations, security, storage) to ensure seamless integration of backup solutions within the existing environment.

- Configure, automate, and optimize backup and recovery processes for efficiency and reliability.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime in the event of an outage.

- Monitor and troubleshoot backup operations, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.

- Provide ongoing support to internal users on Commvault- functionalities and best practices.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Commvault- technologies and data protection trends.

Qualifications :

- 3+ years of demonstrably successful experience as a Commvault- Backup Architect in a Managed Service Provider, implementation partner, or Commvault- itself.

- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Commvault- backup and recovery solutions (i.e., Commvault- Intelligent Data Management, Simpana).

- In-depth understanding of data protection best practices, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity principles.

- Strong knowledge of storage technologies (SAN, NAS, etc.) and network infrastructure.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines effectively
