Job Description

The Data Architecture organization within the Data and Analytics division is responsible for designing and implementing a unified data strategy that enables the efficient, secure, and governed use of data across the organization. We aim to create a trusted and customer-centric data ecosystem, built on a foundation of data quality, security, and openness, and guided by the Thomson Reuters Trust Principles. Our team is dedicated to developing innovative data solutions that drive business value while upholding the highest standards of data management and ethics.

About the Role:

Data Architecture Data Modelling responsibilities in Data Lake at Enterprise Scale
Be primary guardian and promoter of Enterprise Data Model in Data Platform
Act as a data and model governance consultant and educator on critical data projects
Design, Implement and Govern the Enterprise Data Model
Ensure that Policies, Standards and Guiding Principles are applied efficiently and collaborate with business stakeholders to encourage and ensure DataArchitecture principles
Ensure Reference Architecture is adhered to
Write design specifications and other technical documentation
Demonstrates design and technology approaches via prototypes
Work with data engineering and technology teams to ensure new datasets, new pipelines, migrations, integration etc follow Data AnalyticsPrinciples
Work with cross-functional data owners, SMEs and the data team to monitor and manage data health
Recommend enrichment optimization opportunities in Data Architecture space
Stakeholder Management
Exposure to AI/ML frameworks
Hand on Experience on Data Engineering
Data Governance Data Quality experience as an Architect
Certifications in Cloud based Architecture on AWS/Azure/GCP

About You:

bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
10+ years experience in one or more of Digital, Data, Models (AI/ML), Analysis, and/or Technology roles.
Thorough Data Model framework experience including Star Schema, Data Vault Methodologies, Analytical/Semantic Models.
Expert in industry standard data modeling tools (Erwin)
Practical experience working within a Data Platform , DataWarehouse framework, data integration patterns and architecture
Thorough understanding of data and systems infrastructures
Exposure on metadata management, business and technical metadata, data cataloguing, quality, governance, taxonomy, ontology, classification etc
Practical experience working within an end to end Source to BI frameworks.
AWS/Azure, Snowflake experience on cloud.
