Job Description
- Identify and analyze customer requirements
- Deliver high-quality and efficient Java EE applications
- Design, develop and maintain Java applications within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Recommend software solutions to emerging needs
- Communicate effectively with DEV, QA, and Support teams
- Work with external vendors for integrated solutions without comprising the integrity of our applications
- Perform code reviews
- Mentor and lead junior developers on the team
- Execute production releases working with internal teams
- Document processes and features as needed
Skill Required
- Advanced experience in Java, JEE, Webservices and Database concepts
- Web programming, user interface design experience, and database design
- Knowledge of Unix commands to perform deployments on Linux servers
- Good time management skills
- Problem solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred
- Bachelors degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related field
- 7+ years of application development experience
