Project Manager - Compressed Bio gas

Refex Renewables, an established member of the Refex Group, boasts nearly a decade of experience in proficiently managing solar assets, with a substantial installation base totaling 1 GW. As a committed advocate for environmental sustainability, Refex has recently ventured into the Compressed Biogas (CBG) market exclusively as a developer. Our expansion into this sector involves a strategic approach, combining participation in government tenders and the acquisition of existing plants.

Role & responsibilities

1. Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, and budgets for biogas plant projects.

2. Coordinate feasibility studies, technical assessments, and project design approvals.

3. Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.

4. Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.

5. Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management and stakeholders.

6. Coordinate with procurement teams to source materials and equipment.

7. Manage vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring deliverables align with project requirements.

8. Administrative point of contact for business development/sales outcomes and ensuring full commitment/support during the project.

9. Support the development of propositions, partnerships to support our business development and brand positioning

10. Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and KPIs.

11. Prepare and present detailed project reports, including financials and progress updates

Preferred candidate profile

1. Educational Background: Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or related fields).

2. Prior experience in biogas domain is a plus.

3. Ability to work on multiple assignments

Knowledge and / or experience with BIM or other similar estimating software

Desired experience & skills

1. 7+ years of experience in project coordination, with at least 3 years in renewable energy, waste management, or biogas projects.

2. Proven experience in managing large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.

Knowledge of sustainability and renewable energy trends.
