Pricing Manager - Bangalore

Role purpose:

redBuss Dynamic Pricing Engine team is responsible for building fully automated pricing systems for bus operators. We are building solutions that employ cutting edge Machine Learning and Data Science techniques to analyse large volumes of pricing, sales, search & other intelligent signals to create the world's foremost fully automated pricing engine for bus ticketing. Our work requires large-scale information pipelining, structuring & classifying raw data, parallel processing & building cloud scale storage in order to train & supervise the pricing distribution & algorithm. We are also building a state of the art product to provide business analytics and intelligent interventions to assist and support bus operators in their pricing decisions and help them review overall business performance. Our aim is to provide a robust solution which can reduce pricing inefficiencies and increase overall revenue of the bus operator utilizing real-time signals. (... Imagine processing required for setting a price point for each SEAT of each BUS running for next 30 JOURNEY days, for multiple SEAT-TYPEs, and multiple intermediate ROUTEs and changing it intelligently multiple TIMES in a day…)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise Pricing Analysts to create a high performance team
• Enhance processes to improve efficiency with a focus on defining SOPs and documentation
• Identify areas of improvement through system interventions and automation
• Identify and champion the selection of efficiency improvement activities across cross functional teams
• Set up framework & processes to track teams performance
• Streamline training and development by creating quality training collateral
• Continuously asses teams throughput and proactively highlight any resourcing requirements
• Partner with cross functional teams to align with Business objectives and Product roadmap
• Monitor & adjust prices generated from automated Dynamic Pricing Engine to optimize revenue for Bus
• Manage Bus Operator & Bus Service life cycle on Dynamic Pricing. ∙ Flexible to work at different timings and days.

Educational Qualification: B-Tech/MCA/MBA

Preferred Experience (Minimum & Maximum): 4-6 Years
