Job Summary

IndiaFilings.com is seeking a Pricing & Category Manager to take ownership of category P&L, pricing strategies, and overall category performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing pricing models, driving revenue growth, and ensuring competitive positioning in the market. This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration with teams including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development.

Key Responsibilities

P&L Ownership: Manage and drive the overall profitability of assigned categories.

Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing models based on market trends, competitor benchmarking, and customer demand.

Revenue Growth: Identify revenue optimization opportunities through pricing adjustments, bundling, and strategic promotions.

Category Management: Define category strategies, monitor performance, and align offerings with business goals.

Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct research to maintain competitive pricing and category differentiation.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, and Product to improve category performance.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics and customer insights to optimize pricing structures and profitability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• MBA from IIM or a top-tier business school.
• 2-3 years of experience in Pricing, P&L, Category Management, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools is a plus.
• Experience in B2B or service-oriented industries is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive data-backed decisions.
