Responsibilities. Government Liasioning: Act as the primary point of contact between Rays Power Infra and various government bodies at the central, state, and local levels. Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and policymakers. Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and hearings related to renewable energy policies and regulations. Statutory Approvals: Ensure timely acquisition of all necessary approvals, licenses, and permits for project development and operations. Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and submit required documents and applications to regulatory authorities. Commissioning Support: Coordinate with project managers and engineers to oversee the commissioning process of wind and solar projects. Address any regulatory or compliance issues during the commissioning phase. Policy Analysis and Advocacy: Stay updated on the latest policies, laws, and regulations affecting the renewable energy sector. Provide insights and recommendations to management on regulatory compliance strategies and advocacy efforts. Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel extensively across India or abroad to engage with government stakeholders and oversee project activities. Skills And Qualifications. Bachelor's degree in Law, Public Policy, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience (3-7 years) in government liaisoning, regulatory affairs, or public policy roles within the renewable energy industry. In-depth knowledge of renewable energy policies, regulations, and permitting processes in India. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and build consensus. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
