Job Description

Role: Area HR / Cluster HR (Multiple Stores)


Note: Frontend HR Experienced Candidates from Retail/FMCG/QSR Formats Preferable


This Role Involves in Travel / Working from Min 1 to 2 Stores on a Daily basis as per Weekly Plan.


Responsibilities:


1. Store Visits & Employee Engagement

  • Pre/Monthly Journey Plan (PJP/MJP): Visit 20-30 stores regularly according to the pre-established journey plan.
  • One-to-One Meetings: Schedule regular check-ins with employees to understand their needs, concerns, and movements.
  • Employee Engagement: Implement engagement activities according to the HR calendar to maintain employee morale and satisfaction.

2. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Hiring Forecast: Work closely with store managers to forecast hiring needs based on the stores manpower budget.
  • Manpower Sourcing: Increase sourcing channels and liaise with NGOs and other organizations to ensure a skilled workforce.
  • Position Closure: Ensure timely closure of open positions in stores, keeping hiring processes efficient.
  • Onboarding: Take care of employee joining formalities, onboarding, and statutory updates.

3. Statutory Compliance & Support

  • Statutory Updates: Keep track of and ensure timely updates regarding PF (Provident Fund) and ESI (Employee State Insurance) enrolments.
  • Licenses & Renewals: Ensure store licenses are renewed on time and track expiry dates.
  • Employee Statutory Queries: Provide support to employees regarding statutory concerns.

4. Payroll & Attendance Management

  • Payroll Inputs: Ensure that payroll inputs, including attendance and leaves, are processed accurately and on time.
  • Attendance Queries: Cater to employee queries about attendance, leave regularization, and other HR portal-related concerns.

5. Performance Monitoring

  • Manpower Turnover: Calculate and report on the turnover rate regularly to track employee retention and take corrective actions where needed.
  • Employee Grievance Management: Address and resolve employee grievances in accordance with company policies and procedures.

6. Reporting & MIS

  • HR Reporting: Maintain and submit timely reports to the Reporting HR, following standard formats. This could include turnover rates, attendance reports, and other HR-related data.

Requirements:

  • Working experience with Retail industry (preference)
  • Hands on experience in sourcing and onboarding employees at store level.
  • Knowledge in payroll systems, Statutory compliances, attendance recording systems and HR data base. Knowledge in data Analytics will be an added advantage.
  • Effective communication skills and employee friendly nature
