Role & responsibilities
1. Understanding Recruitment Needs
Collaborating with hiring managers to understand job requirements, roles, and expectations.
Developing and updating job descriptions and specifications.
2. Sourcing Candidates
Using various channels like job portals, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies to source potential candidates.
Building and maintaining a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
3. Screening and Shortlisting
Reviewing resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
Conducting initial screenings via phone, video, or in-person interviews.
4. Conducting Interviews
Coordinating and scheduling interviews with hiring managers or teams.
Conducting interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
5. Handling Job Offers
Negotiating salary and employment terms with candidates.
Preparing and sending offer letters to selected candidates.
6. Employer Branding
Promoting the organization as an employer of choice through social media, job fairs, and other platforms.
Building strong relationships with colleges and universities for campus recruitment.
7. Maintaining Recruitment Data
Keeping records of candidate evaluations, interview feedback, and hiring decisions.
Managing applicant tracking systems (ATS) or recruitment databases.
8. Compliance and Policies
Ensuring recruitment processes comply with labor laws and company policies.
Maintaining confidentiality of candidate and organizational information.
9. Post-Hiring Activities
Coordinating onboarding processes for new hires.
Gathering feedback from candidates and hiring managers to improve recruitment processes.
Skills Required:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in recruitment tools and ATS.
Knowledge of labor laws and hiring practices.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Good negotiation and decision-making skills.
