Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Atlassian Technical Pre-Sales Lead specializing in Atlassian products to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, designing solutions using Atlassian products, and ensuring successful implementation and adoption of these solutions. The Atlassian Technical Pre-Sales Lead will work closely with sales, product, and technical teams to provide comprehensive technical support and guidance throughout the sales process. The person is also supposed to own the bid management process including end to end solutioning, efforts/ estimations and delivery of the proposal/RFP responses.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Lead: (a) Lead pre-engagement cycle during the sales process, including responding to RFPs/RFIs, conducting product demos, and addressing technical questions and concerns. (b) Own the pre-sales strategies and proposals that align with customer needs and business goals.
Solution Design: (a) Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and design tailored solutions using Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, JSM etc.). (b) Develop and present solution diagrams, technical proposals, and proof-of-concepts to customers (c) Lead and Coordinate with solution/ technical experts for consistent solution creation, efforts estimations, validation and submission to the customer
Customer Engagement: (a) Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in customer organizations. (b) Work closely with customers to understand their business processes, pain points, and objectives to recommend the most suitable Atlassian solutions.
Post Engagement: (a) Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to delivery team for execution (b) Provide guidance on integration of Atlassian products with other systems and tools used by the customer.
Training and Enablement: (a) Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers and internal teams to enhance their knowledge and skills in using Atlassian products. (b) Create and maintain documentation, tutorials, and other resources to support customer education and adoption.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or similar role. Proven experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, JSM, etc.).
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Groovy. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps tools is a plus.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Certifications: Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) in relevant areas. Other relevant technical certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified ScrumMaster).
