About the Role :

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Google Workspace Operations Lead to manage and optimize our extensive Google Workspace environment. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation, security, and scalability of our collaboration and productivity tools. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a passion for technology and a knack for leading teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Google Workspace Administration : Manage and maintain a large Google Workspace tenant, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.

- Third-Party Tool Management : Utilize and administer third-party tools like GAM Advanced to streamline administration, automation, and reporting.

- Integration Expertise : Design, implement, and manage complex integrations between Google Workspace and other critical business systems.

- Security Champion : Conduct regular security audits, implement best practices, and proactively address potential vulnerabilities.

- Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of 3-6 junior to mid-level engineers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

- Consultative Approach : Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing expert recommendations on Google Workspace optimization and related technologies.

- Incident Response : Lead incident response efforts, quickly resolving technical issues to minimize disruption to business operations.

Qualifications :

- Proven Experience : 5+ years of experience in managing large Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) environments.

- Technical Proficiency : Deep understanding of Google Workspace administration, APIs, security best practices, and third-party tools.

- Integration Skills : Experience with designing and implementing complex integrations between Google Workspace and other applications.

- Security Mindset : Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate security risks in a cloud-based environment.

- Leadership Acumen : Proven ability to lead and inspire technical teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

- Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
