Principal - PhD (15-20 yrs)

Key Responsibilities

- Lead academic, operational, and financial functions, ensuring alignment with the institution's vision and objectives.

- Supervise and mentor faculty across the departments of Commerce, Economics, and English.

- Oversee the admissions process

- Spearheaded curriculum development to ensure that academic programs meet the highest standards of excellence.

- Promote interdisciplinary collaboration between Liberal Arts, Commerce, and English departments.

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards for higher education institutions.

- Represent the institution at national and international academic forums, establishing partnerships with top-tier universities.

- Cultivate an inclusive student community while ensuring the provision of high-quality student services.

- Lead faculty recruitment and development, focusing on supporting academic experience & administration roles.

Qualifications and Experience

- PhD in Economics, Sociology, Commerce, or related fields.

- Minimum 15 years of teaching experience, with at least 5 years of post-PhD and 5 years in academic administration experience.

- Proven track record in academic leadership, including 5 years of experience as a Principal or in a senior leadership role within a higher education institution.

- Extensive experience in curriculum design, implementation, and academic program development.

- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to effectively lead, inspire, and engage faculty, students, and staff.
