SQL Server Analysis Services Developer - Performance Tuning (4-5 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Partner with business stakeholders to gather and analyze user requirements for data analysis solutions.

- Design and develop SSAS cubes and dimensions to meet specific data modeling and querying needs.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using SSAS scripting languages (MDX, DAX).

- Conduct thorough testing and debugging activities to ensure the accuracy, performance, and functionality of SSAS models.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing technical support and guidance to end-users.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in SSAS and data warehousing technologies.

- Contribute to the documentation of SSAS models, user manuals, and technical specifications.

Technical Skills (Must-Have) :

- Proven experience in developing data analysis solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).

- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and SQL querying languages (T-SQL).

- Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing principles.

- Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.

- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Technical Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is a plus.

- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is a plus
