Position : Head - HR & IR
Location : Pune
Key Responsibilities :
1. Ensure that the company hires experienced or properly trained personnel, conducting background checks, and ensuring compliance with industry-specific certifications.
2. Ensure compliance with labor laws, including overtime regulations and other employment-related regulations that affect the staff
3. Ensure that the unrest/disputes are resolved amicably without having any impact on the business operations.
4. Play a key role in promoting a positive work environment, addressing employee concerns, and improving overall job satisfaction to reduce turnover.
5. Introduce retention strategies, such as offering benefits, bonuses, career development opportunities, and addressing issues like work-life balance to reduce employee turnover
6. Set up the performance management system which will cover designing KPIs for employees, appraisal mechanism, compensation structure
7. Set up the employee assessment/appraisal system and track the same on quarterly basis and develop strong feedback mechanism
8. Implement the required HR policies and benchmark the same with industry
9. Addressing issues of non-compliance with company policies, poor performance, or safety violations in a fair and consistent manner.
10. Organise the required trainings for management team either through in house resources or outside professional agencies
11. Attend Board/management meetings as and when required and make the presentation on the performance of the function and the key issues
12. Ensure that the company is positioned to scale for the next growth phase, whether through more efficient recruiting practices, better training programs, or improved retention strategies.
