Manager - General Ledger - GSS - CA/ICWA (8-15 yrs)

Immediate requirement for GL Manager | Reputed GSS | Hyderabad | CA / ICWA

- Prepare and review all balance sheet account reconciliations, including, but not limited to, revenue accounts, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accrued expenses, and other current assets and liabilities.

- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Well-versed with Reconciliation policy around balance sheet accounts and classifications (Timing issues, required adjustments, unidentified differences etc.,)

- Ensure journal entries are recorded to accurately reflect appropriate accrual basis accounting transactions for assigned functions in the correct period including accruals of expenses, accruals of revenue, amortization of prepaid expenses, etc.

- Performing and reviewing monthly journal entries relating to adjustments, accruals, corrections, revenue adjustments prepaids etc.

- Ensure timely and accurate posting of all GL transactions, maintaining alignment with company policies and accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS).

- Well versed with US GAAP and Statutory requirements

- Ability to identify and post correction entries to fix the account balances.

- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.

- Ensure that closing schedules are adhered to and that all related activities, including accruals and deferrals, are completed on time.

- In-depth knowledge in Fixed asset / CIP accounting / and Revenue Accounting

- Support audit requests for information. Audits represent external, tax and various

- Perform detailed variance analyses

- Support preparation of reports for regulatory compliance, external auditors, and tax authorities.
