Head - Finance - Manufacturing/Steel/Metal/Oil & Gas (10-15 yrs)

Working Days: 5 days

Language Preferred: Fluent in English, Hindi. Knowing of any other languages would be an added advantage.

Job Description: The primary function of this role is to manage the MIS & reporting part, coordinate with sales, assist audits, verify stocks, review contracts, and ensure financial compliance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial management, ideally with a CA or MBA in Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct financial/ Business analysis to assess the company's performance across key KPIs, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.

- Analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements on a monthly basis after closing and prepare management reports.

- Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, and explain variances.

- Prepare regular financial reports for the regional management as well as for Corporate Reporting as per the group guidelines

- Review contracts for compliance with financial policies, assess associated risks, and negotiate cost-effective terms with vendors to optimize outcomes.

- Present financial information and analysis to various stakeholders including preparation of presentations for Board Meetings / Monthly reviews / Management Committee meetings.

- Collaborate with the sales team to develop financial plans aligned with business goals and provide support to optimize revenue generation and cost management.

- Support internal and external audits by assisting in planning, documentation preparation, inquiry addressing, and timely implementation of audit recommendations.

- Conduct periodic stock audits to ensure the accuracy of inventory records and reconcile physical counts with system records through collaboration with warehouse and logistics teams.

Qualifications & Skills:

- CA / MBA in Finance preferred

- 10 years + of financial controller experience

- Strong analytical and communication skills

- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software. Experience in Power BI will be an added advantage.
